What is a part time Job - An article

A job is required for everybody regardless of how much rich or poor a person is.  Without a job, life will become miserable.  People will feel bored if they do not have jobs.  Many people think that it would be fun to sit without any work as long as money is coming in, but that is really not true.  Look at the people in jail.  They are made to sit without any work. That is a sort of punishment.  So if you do not have work, you might feel nice for a few days, but afterwards it would be very boring.  People who do not have jobs feel depressed and may even try to commit suicide.  That is reason why people who are very rich and with lots and lots of money do not sit idle.  If not anything else, they will atleast do some social work.

From the name itself it is apparent that part time job is for working part time meaning not the whole day.  However, there are times when a part time job can be full time!!  How can that be possible ?!  This is because a person's regular job is many times called a full time job.  However if the regular job is done only for part of the day... then it can be said that his part time job is his full time job.  I do not know how many will agree on that.  So many argue that if a regular person's shift is 8 hours, then he is not working the whole day or full time.... so how can you call it a full time job?!  The argument on what is full time and part time is a bit prolonged one.....

Generally when people search for part time jobs, they are searching for jobs that can be done for a very small period of time.  It may be just a few minutes or a few hours.  These jobs are most of the time additional work people seek in addition to their existing work.  This may be for removing the monotony of life or for most of the time for earning more.  There are times when people like housewives seek parttime jobs because they do not have time to work the whole day.  Part time jobs for students help them to earn while learning.  This will help them in paying their college fees or tution fees or will help them to meet their social requirements or peer pressure requirements.  The peer pressure is seen maximum at teenage years.  That is why parttime jobs for teens are in great demand.  In countries like U.S. where there is higher diginity of labor, teens and students work parttime even in hotels, but in India that is considered a menial job.  It important for teenagers to find careers that suits them, else they will be less enthusiastic about their work leading to poor performance in their work.

Most people prefer home based business as their parttime job since bigger companies may not offer them that sort of flexible job as home based businesses.  With the advent of internet, lot of internet based jobs have come.  Internet business is what people are looking for since dot com boom has made many people billionaires.  Normally students prefer to work in summer jobs because during summer, students get summer vacation which they can utilize.  So if you are looking for work at home job, internet is the right place for you.  There are plenty of part time computer jobs on the internet.  Many of these jobs are part time data entry jobs.  Many people think they can make money doing nothing, but this actually not true.  There are plenty of freelance jobs available on the internet, so you can be your own boss or many times need not step outside your home. 

Everyone now a days wants to get rich quick, but in reality only hard work yields.  Those who have become rich overnight have done years of hard work.  Even those who have won lots of money by lottery or gambling have done lot of work by playing and spending lot of the time and lost lots of money and stress before winning.  So even winning a lottery also requires effort.  If you are finding it difficult to find part time jobs, just search in employment sites.  You will definitely find a lot of online work available.  The problem is every one wants to get rich, but no one is ready to work hard.  There are plenty of online part time jobs available, even part time evening jobs or part time night jobs are there.  The key thing you would require to do is search and be able to differentiate which is legitimate home based business and which is not.

Those who have temp work usually would be doing part time jobs to supplement their regular income.  There are also lots of mlm opportunities and software testing jobs available.  From home work is a method by which you can be your own boss.  You do not have to worry about the harrassment of bosses.  If your kids come from school and find you at home at work, they would be happy that at least they can find you easily than when you were in the office.  So even if it is a data entry job, if it can keep your family happy, there is nothing like it.  Marketing jobs are also available, but then unless you are fit for marketing, then possibly it is better that you do not choose them.  Most marketing jobs involve telling lies and manipulating facts.  If you are not comfortable with internet jobs, you can try your hand at retail jobs though it might be a little bit risky if you are investing a lot of money or you do not have enough money to invest.
